Library Request

Our book cart needs more books!

Our book cart sales fund our wonderful library, but now we're in need of more books for our book cart! The books that sell the most and the fastest are pop culture books. If you have any modern, pop culture books, please donate them to the library book cart. You can drop them off to the office anytime during office hours.

New Sexton: Kaelan

A Note from our new Sexton

Kaelan.jpg

I’m Kaelan Bentham and I am excited to be the new Caretaker/Sexton and Community Meal Coordinator at St Mary’s Kerrisdale! After working in hospitality, funeral services and launching a street food cart over the last few years, I’m looking forward to being the carer and custodian of the beautiful facilities here and supporting the operations of the community any way I can. I love heritage structures and craftsmanship so it is an honour to care for such a distinguished church at such an exciting time. I am excited to meet everyone so please say hello when you see me working around the property and supporting the events and groups that use the spaces. I will also be working to help execute the community meal program, and look forward meeting all the volunteers and community members who make this mission a success.

Outside of caretaking I can be found driving or maintaining my classic car, learning to play accordion, and exploring the city.
